The Beatles Omitted The Most Essential Qualifier When They Said: “All You Need is Love”!

Without adding genuine, this love would mean either control or attachment, instead.

In the former group, we encounter inherently undesirable individuals. In the latter one, inherently good but lost souls.

Listen: Those constitute mandatory foundations for genuine love:

  • Self-respect (healthy boundaries) and showing respect to others,

  • Emotional maturity and treating people as ends not merely as means to nurture one’s ego,

  • Bravery to confront and tell the truth instead of diplomacy and enabling the lack of accountability,

  • The ability to display vulnerability. Better inhibiting it with people who might be threatened by your sacred emotions,

  • Engaging from a place of authenticity and depth instead of assuming the social masks to fit in. It is meaningful only when reciprocated.
