I Listened to an Intriguing Video With an Open Heart, Applied the Principle, and Was Amazed by the Result
Some time ago, I instantly manifested my dream — or at least what I thought could be qualified as a manifestation. I am still a newbie when it comes to the topic, undoubtedly, and feel so excited to learn about it!
I have a preference for the mixed scientific and spiritual optic, I need to admit. Thus, I am a fan of Gregg Braden’s works. They resonate with my philosophy.
I am a firm believer that when science and spirituality marry, divinity is born!
One of my dearest friends had the kindness to leave such insightful feedback when I published the first unconscious experience here. I am grateful whenever I have the privilege to learn from my fellow writers.
Two weeks ago — more or less, I listened to one of Gregg’s brilliant videos in which he told a story of a unique experience with a friend of his that “changed his life and the way he thinks about his relationship to the world”.
He was supposedly accompanying his friend to a special place — where the skin between the worlds is very thin for whatever anomaly. It was one of the driest periods, and the purpose of the visit was to pray for rain.
That was not what happened. The friend merely enlaced his shoes, stepped into the medicine wheel with his naked feet on the ground, closed his eyes, and created the prayer mudra in front of him just for a few seconds. Then, he asked Gregg to go for lunch.
Gregg: I thought you invited me here to pray for rain.
The friend: If I prayed for rain, the rain could never happen. Because the moment we ask the Universe for something to happen in this world, in the asking for, we are affirming that it does not exist now.
Gregg: If you didn’t pray for rain right now, what did you just do?
The friend: When I closed my eyes, I felt the feeling as if the rain has already happened. I felt the feeling of what it feels like to stand in my village with my naked feet in the mud, and the mud is there because there’s been so much rain. I felt the feeling of what it feels like when I walk through the fields of corn that are this high against my naked chest, and they’re this high because there’s been so much rain. I felt the feeling of what it feels like when my prayer is already answered. And then, I gave thanks for what has already happened.
