I feel fortunate for loving animals and need to admit to you it hasn’t always been the case. I never hated them or stayed careless whenever I was witnessing some cruel behavior toward them. But, I can’t say I had a particular connection with those beautiful living creatures!

Up to two years ago, I was trapped. I was the product of a lifetime of conditioning. I was diving into life with numerous traumas, emotional scars, and unprocessed feelings.

Up to two years ago, I was living 95 to 97% of my day on auto-pilot from a program I never wrote in the first place. My intrinsic worth was discriminated against.

Up to two years ago, all my relationships, choices, or lack of them were the outcome of all the limiting beliefs I was carrying, the insecure attachment style I had as an adaptation to my environment, and the Perfectionism Syndrome from which I was suffering.

What does being emotionally imbalanced have to do with animals at all?

I still remember that puppy. My brothers and I were kids and so excited about having a new friend! I am not sure how we got the puppy. What I can confirm, though, is that my parents didn’t buy or rescue it.

We spent such a wonderful day with our puppy and went to bed with a heart full of joy and our imaginative mind full of plans! We woke up the next day, and the puppy was nowhere.

Our parents said the little and fragile creature was making too much noise; hence, they had to take him far away and that he will never come back. Try to imagine how the heart of kids would be at that moment. You guessed right: broken.

As a coping mechanism, I think the three of us might have developed a tendency not to let ourselves connect with animals and build a bond. I had no clue about this pattern up to two years ago. I needed to be self-aware first!

The reason I’m so in love with re-writing the invasive subconscious program no matter how painful the adventure could be, and that all my writings are about it, either explicitly or implicitly, is that the paycheck is more than what you could ever expect!

Here is what destroying your limiting beliefs about yourself and the world — where the subtle manipulation happens — will generate:

  • Make you reconnect with the original servant leader in you and acquire all the virtues everybody is craving, which I introduced in this story.
  • Transform your obsession for the self-serving success into being on a noble mission much bigger than yourself.
  • Unleash limitless amounts of love — first for yourself and second for people and the whole Universe!
My miraculous moment with my new furry
I might love all animals, but I prefer two species: butterflies and dogs! This story below is the proof.

I imagined my very first pet would be a puppy until I met Mimi! I was on my way to the gym. I was proud of myself because I left home early enough for this session. I stopped my car to buy some water.

When I was about to get back into it, I heard some short and high-pitched meows. It was insisting. I went in the noise direction, but I couldn’t see anything. It was too dark, and she (a female, yes!) was hiding between the trees since it was raining an hour before, most probably.

When I was close enough, she stuck her small and beautiful head out and started giving me hugs. She was a bit wet; still, it was enchanting to receive those free hugs from this enthusiastic and affectionate kitten!

People were passing by and observing the scene with so much skepticism or admiration, depending on who they are. I was having a blast, and even though I was late for my Body Combat class, it didn’t matter!

I was near to my place; thus, I brought her to my apartment residence and asked the security guy — a friend of mine — to keep an eye on her until I could be back, which he kindly accepted to do.

When I was back, she ran in my direction. Even though I wasn’t ready to adopt a pet, I was left with no choice! She was my miracle — my tiny, cute and loving miracle, and I welcomed her with open arms and a heart full of gratitude for this mesmerizing Universe!

Thank you so much for stopping by, and for having decided to invest some of your precious time in reading this story! It means the world to me! Please meet my new furry Mimi 💙
